Eller Named 2025 Teacher of the Year

Rolla Public Schools is proud to announce the selection of Mr. Brian Eller, Truman Elementary Teacher, as the 2025 District Teacher of the Year. Mr. Eller is finishing his third year at Rolla Public Schools and has 25 years of teaching experience. 

Mr. Eller is an exceptional asset to his school, the district, and the community. Truman Elementary Principal, Mr. Rob Hauck noted in his nomination for the award, “Mr. Eller is a positive person who is focused on helping others. He is a true professional and one of the most patient people I have ever met. Brian works to instill life lessons in his students and models expectations for them. He works to find each child’s interests and builds lessons explicitly for them. He strives to give back and help our students become the best they can be.”

Dr. Stacey Reed, Director of Special Education said, “Working with Mr. Eller is truly a blessing for all our students and staff. He embodies integrity, humility, and kindness. He sets a great example and inspires everyone he meets to become the best version of themselves.”

As the Rolla Public Schools Teacher of the Year, Mr. Eller will be eligible to compete at the regional and state levels through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
